About this site
Lord Jim Wreck lies off Vancouver Island in British Columbia, in the Strait of Juan de Fuca region near Sooke, and is typically reached by boat from small harbours along the south island shoreline. Divers here have reported giant Pacific octopus and harbor seals around the site, along with north Pacific spiny dogfish moving through the water column. Ochre sea stars and yellow shore crabs have also been spotted on the bottom, adding to the mix of life divers encounter on this stretch of coast.
