Lost Reef sits off Tanjung Pude on the Sulawesi coast of Indonesia, in a region known for steep drop-offs into the Molucca Sea, and is typically reached by boat from nearby coastal settlements. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 30 metres, runs light current, and is rated a beginner dive. Divers here have reported frogfish, ghost pipefish, lionfish, nudibranchs, octopus, scorpionfish, snapper, and stonefish, making it a spot worth a slow, close look rather than a fast drift.
