About this site
Lyme Bay offers diverse diving with rocky reefs, sandy patches, and kelp forests. Expect excellent visibility in summer, often reaching 10 meters. The area teems with marine life, including spider crabs, cuttlefish, and occasional dolphins. Wrecks dot the seabed, some dating back centuries. Gentle currents make it suitable for all skill levels. The bay's sheltered location provides calmer conditions than much of the English Channel. Winter diving reveals a different ecosystem with fewer boats and more underwater activity. Depth varies from shallow 5-meter sites to deeper 30-meter wrecks.
