About this site
Ma-Asin 3 lies along the coast of Sipalay, on the southwestern shore of Negros Occidental in the Visayas region of the Philippines. This stretch of coastline faces the Sulu Sea and is known locally for a scattering of small dive sites reachable by short boat rides from Sipalay town. Divers here have reported common lionfish, tomato clownfish, and nudibranchs including elegant phyllidia and sky blue phyllidia, suggesting the kind of reef habitat that rewards a slower, macro-focused look at the bottom.
