About this site

Maagiri Reef sits in Kaafu Atoll within North Male Atoll, part of the Maldives archipelago in the central Indian Ocean. Sites in this part of the atoll are typically reached by dhoni from nearby resorts and islands in the Kaafu group. The reef reaches a maximum depth of around 32 metres and is rated a beginner dive. Divers have also reported bannerfish, garden eels, snapper, and triggerfish around the reef.
