Madivaru Manta Point

Madivaru sits at the outer edge of Ari Atoll near Rangali, on a reef point exposed to open ocean channels that run between the atoll's islands. This part of Ari Atoll is well known within the Maldives for manta ray activity, particularly when seasonal currents bring plankton across the outer reef, and sites along this edge are typically dived by boat from resorts in the area. The channel-facing structure and reliance on current for manta encounters generally means dives here suit those comfortable with open water and moving conditions.
