Magic Mountain sits off Sandalwood Island (Kadavu Island) in Fiji, within the Melanesian island arc south of Viti Levu. The waters around Kadavu form part of the Great Astrolabe Reef system, a barrier reef reached by boat from operators based along the island's coast.
