About this site
This site lies off the Calvados coast of Normandy, along the stretch of the English Channel between Ouistreham and Deauville, reached by boat from small harbors along this shoreline. It reaches a maximum depth of around 80 metres and is rated technical, with strong current running over a rocky bottom. Divers have reported hazards including hidden pinnacles and hidden reefs in addition to the current itself. Marine life reports from the site include barracuda, bumphead parrotfish, Napoleon wrasse, and wobbegong, though these read as unusual for the Channel and may reflect isolated sightings rather than what most divers can expect to see here.
