About this site
Makua Beach sits on the leeward coast of Oahu, Hawaii, in the Waianae district, along the stretch of coastline north of Makaha. The shoreline here backs onto the dry, mountainous terrain typical of Oahu's western side, facing the open Pacific. The reef here is rated a beginner dive, and divers have also reported manta rays passing through the area.
