About this site
The Malayan Wreck lies within Tubbataha Reef Natural Park, a UNESCO World Heritage marine park in the Sulu Sea off Palawan, reached only by liveaboard during the short diving season from roughly March to June. Diving here means committing to the remote, open-sea setting of the atoll system, well away from any mainland shore access. The wreck itself sits at a maximum depth of around 20 metres and is rated an intermediate dive, making it a more approachable option compared to the steep outer walls and drop-offs the park is otherwise known for.
