Mangle's Maze lies along the coast of Grand Cayman in the Cayman Islands, in the western Caribbean Sea, where fringing reef and channels cut through the shallows are typical of the island's dive terrain. It is a beginner site with a maximum depth of around 9.1 metres, making it a shallow dive well suited to divers still building experience.
