About this site
This dive site off Nosy Be in Madagascar’s Diana region offers thrilling encounters with graceful manta rays gliding through the Mozambique Channel. The site features a cleaning station where mantas hover near coral formations, allowing close observation. Strong currents bring nutrient-rich waters, attracting pelagic life like reef sharks and occasional whale sharks. The sandy bottom slopes to deeper waters, with visibility often exceeding 20 meters. Best dived during the dry season when mantas are most active. Suitable for intermediate divers due to occasional strong currents.
