About this site
Manta Ray Island Reef lies in Fiji, off one of the country's small reef-fringed islands. It reaches a maximum depth of around 12.2 metres and is considered a beginner-friendly dive over the reef. Damselfish and surgeonfish are common sights here, and divers have also reported manta rays passing through. Some divers have noted strong currents at the site, so conditions can shift even at this shallow depth.
