About this site
Mantis Avenue lies off Mantanani Besar in Sabah, where gentle currents sweep over a sandy slope dotted with vibrant coral bommies. Schools of batfish and trevally patrol the area, while green sea turtles glide past. The site's shallow reef crest teems with colorful anthias and occasional reef sharks. Visibility often exceeds 20 meters, with sunlight illuminating the coral gardens. The sandy bottom slopes to 18 meters, perfect for relaxed drift dives. Keep an eye out for camouflaged mantis shrimp hiding in the rubble.
