About this site

Marine Park sits within the protected waters off Tioman Island on Pahang's east coast, reached by boat from villages such as Salang, Genting, or Air Batang. The site is a reef dive to around 15 metres, rated for beginners, with light current and good visibility over granite reef formations. Parrotfish and triggerfish are common here, and divers have also reported angelfish, batfish, damselfish, grouper, leopard sharks, Napoleon wrasse, nudibranchs, pipefish, snapper, sweetlips, and wrasse. Some reports also mention metal structures and stinging hydroids from a nearby wreck, along with stronger currents running through a channel in the area.
