About this site
This dive site off Sal Island features dramatic volcanic rock formations and abundant marine life. The underwater terrain includes swim-throughs, arches, and caves formed by lava flows. Expect schools of barracuda, moray eels, and occasional reef sharks. Visibility often exceeds 30 meters in these clear Atlantic waters. The site offers both shallow areas for beginners and deeper sections for advanced divers. Currents can be strong, bringing pelagic visitors. The dark volcanic rock contrasts beautifully with colorful sponges and corals.
