Masa Mubarak lies along the Red Sea coast within Qesm Al Qoseir, in Egypt's Red Sea Governorate south of the town of Marsa Alam, where fringing reef structures run close to the shore and are typically reached by boat from nearby marinas. The site is a shallow reef dive, reaching a maximum depth of around 6 metres, rated beginner with light current and great visibility. Dugongs are found here, and divers have also reported damselfish, fusiliers, octopus, pipefish, and unicornfish along the reef.
