About this site
Maska Reef sits within the Maldives atoll system, with a maximum depth of around 10 metres that keeps it a beginner-friendly dive suited to newer divers or those looking for a shallower, easier profile. Divers here have reported batfish, eagle rays, trevally, and octopus moving over the reef, along with scorpionfish and leaf scorpionfish tucked into the structure. Nurse sharks have also been spotted resting on the reef. The shallow depth makes it a relaxed site for spending time looking closely at the reef rather than working a deep profile.
