MB 198 refers to a numbered offshore reef block off the Florida Panhandle, in the Gulf of Mexico south of the Port St. Joe area. Sites in this artificial reef grid are typically deployed materials, such as concrete rubble, vessels, or purpose-built modules, marked by permit number rather than a traditional name.
