About this site
MB-84 is an artificial reef site off the Florida Panhandle, deployed as a purpose-sunk vessel to build habitat on an otherwise open sand bottom. It sits in this stretch of the Gulf of Mexico south of the Destin and Panama City area, at coordinates placing it well offshore. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 38 metres, which puts it in deeper water suited to divers comfortable with depth planning and limited bottom time.
