The Mercedes wreck lies off Pompano Beach in Broward County, on Florida's Atlantic coast, close to the parallel reef ridges that run north to south along this stretch of coastline. It sits at a maximum depth of around 22.9 metres and is rated an intermediate dive. The site lies just offshore near Fort Lauderdale, within reach of the many charter boats operating out of the area.
