About this site
Mermaid is a dive site off Lentea Island in the Wakatobi archipelago, off Southeast Sulawesi, within Wakatobi National Park. The island sits between Kaledupa and the Buton mainland, where the reefs give way to the deep channels of the Banda Sea. The site is rated an intermediate dive, and divers have reported macro life including harlequin shrimp, mandarinfish, ornate ghost pipefish, rhinopias and seahorses among the reef.
