Mermaids Wall lies along the coast of Grand Cayman in the Cayman Islands, part of the drop-off terrain that fringes much of the island, and is generally reached by boat from operators based on Grand Cayman. Divers have reported a range of hard corals along the wall, including greater star coral, lobed star coral, massive starlet coral, mountainous star coral, mustard hill coral, and staghorn coral. Reef fish reported here include princess parrotfish, redband parrotfish, and striped parrotfish, moving over and along the drop-off.
