About this site
Midarahama (みだら浜) is a shallow boat-dive white-sand site off Iriomote Island in the Yaeyama Islands, Okinawa, with a maximum depth of 12 m and an average around 5 m. Saddleback anemonefish live at 12 m, and a coral head at 7 m holds glassfish, blue-striped cardinalfish and ornate pipefish; the shallow depth makes it a common third dive. No current; from beginner/novice level.
