About this site
The Mohawk Deer wreck lies off the Portofino promontory within the Metropolitan City of Genoa, in the marine protected waters at the tip of this stretch of the Ligurian coast. The site sits on a wreck bottom reaching a maximum depth of around 40 metres and is rated an advanced dive. Boats out of Portofino and nearby Santa Margherita Ligure run out to the headland's dive sites, an area otherwise known for its rocky reefs and steep underwater terrain.
