About this site
Gorgona Island sits in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Colombia's Cauca department, roughly 35 kilometres from the mainland. The island and its surrounding waters form part of Gorgona National Natural Park, known for volcanic rock formations and steep underwater terrain typical of Colombia's Pacific coast. Dive sites around the island are reached by boat from the park's ranger station.
