Moon Hole lies off Utila Island in Honduras' Bay Islands, an archipelago in the western Caribbean known for its coral reefs and coastal drop-offs. Utila sits southwest of Roatan and is reached by boat from the island's dive operators clustered around Utila Town. The site is shallow, with a maximum depth of around 4.6 metres, and is rated a beginner dive.
