Moskstraumen lies in the Lofoten archipelago of northern Norway, in the strait between the islands of Moskenesøya and Værøy, an area long known for one of the world's strongest tidal current systems. Diving here reaches a maximum depth of around 20 metres and is rated an intermediate dive, a reflection of the moving water that defines this stretch of sea.
