About this site
Motu Nui is a small islet off the southwestern tip of Easter Island, part of the Rapa Nui National Park and known on land for its role in the birdman (tangata manu) rituals. Diving here takes place in the open waters of the South Pacific surrounding the islet, off the coast near Orongo.
