About this site
Mpai Bay lies along the coastline of Koh Kong province in southwestern Cambodia, an area of mangrove-lined coast and scattered islands near the Cambodia-Thailand border in the Gulf of Thailand. The province is more widely known for its forested national parks and river estuaries than for a developed dive industry, with boat access typically arranged from the town of Koh Kong. The reef here tops out at a shallow maximum depth of around 10 metres, but it is rated an advanced dive, so conditions at the site demand more than the depth alone would suggest.
