About this site
Mushroom Forest is a rich coral area off Rarotonga with depths from 16 to 24 metres. The mushroom-shaped bommies rising all around it are its most pronounced feature.
The site is a great place to explore, and it is a favourite with eagle rays in season. The mushroom-shaped bommies are the main feature of the dive, and they give the site its name.
