About this site
The identity of this barge is not known. She sits upright north of Burnt Island near the Canadian border. She may have been a small sailing for steam-powered vessel, converted to unpowered use. There is a steam winch on deck but no boiler is evident, nor is there a rudder. A name board is present but is unreadable. The forward hold is filled with coal. Lies in about 15.2 m.
