About this site
The N. G. Peterson lies off the Lizard Peninsula on the south coast of Cornwall, in the western approaches to the English Channel. This stretch of coastline is marked by exposed granite headlands and rocks that have historically caused shipping losses in the area. Divers on the site have reported Atlantic beadlet anemones and snakelocks anemones among the marine life encrusting the wreckage.
