About this site
Nakabana (中鼻) is a boat dive at Kuki in Owase on the Kii Peninsula coast of Mie, five minutes from the harbour, with a maximum depth of 23 m and an average around 14 m. A drop-off begins at 9 m and the terrain is varied, with good water exchange and high visibility. It is the top local rock-fishing spot, and large striped beakfish, longtooth grouper and pelagic fish are common. Current at times, intermediate and above.
