About this site
Napaling sits along the coast of Panglao Island, on the northwestern shore facing the Bohol Sea in the Visayas region of the Philippines, and is one of several dive sites strung along this stretch of coastline reached by boat from the resorts and dive centers around Panglao and Alona area. The site is a wall dive that tops out around 18 metres and is rated a beginner dive. Divers regularly encounter clownfish, eagle rays, frogfish, fusiliers, nudibranchs, parrotfish, and scorpionfish along the wall, and there have also been reports of jacks, octopus, pufferfish, reef sharks, sea turtles, snapper, surgeonfish, and trevally passing through. Currents can run strong during spring tides, so conditions are worth checking with local operators before diving.
