About this site
This protected marine area off Panaon Island offers vibrant coral gardens teeming with reef fish, turtles, and occasional reef sharks. The sloping reef transitions to dramatic walls with swim-throughs and overhangs. Strong currents attract pelagics, making it ideal for drift diving. Visibility often exceeds 30 meters in the clear Bohol Sea waters. The sanctuary's conservation efforts ensure thriving biodiversity. Best dived from November to May for calm conditions.
