About this site
The Nestos Wreck lies just off Patras, on the northern coast of the Peloponnese where the Gulf of Patras meets the Gulf of Corinth, waters long used by shipping moving between the Ionian Sea and the Corinth Canal route. The wreck rests on a bottom of its own remains at a maximum depth of around 18 metres, making it a beginner dive. It sits in the coastal waters just offshore from the port city, easily reached given its shallow depth.
