About this site
Newport is a dive site along the coast of Curaçao, situated near Willemstad on the island's leeward shore in the southern Caribbean. Like many sites along this coastline, it is typically accessed from shore or by a short boat ride from the capital area. Divers here have reported Atlantic blue tang, banded butterflyfish, blackbar soldierfish, Caribbean Christmas tree worms, four-eyed butterflyfish, giant anemones, stoplight parrotfish, and Western Atlantic trumpetfish along the reef.
