About this site
Nigali Pass is a channel dive on the northeast side of Gau Island, one of the outlying islands of Fiji's Lomaiviti group. The pass cuts through the barrier reef, drifting divers over a reef bottom past coral formations, and barracuda and trevally are regularly seen moving through the channel. Divers have also reported bumphead parrotfish, grouper, manta rays, and snapper here. Despite the drift conditions typical of a pass, it is rated a beginner site.
