About this site
North Reef sits off Mana Island in the Mamanuca group, west of Fiji's main island of Viti Levu. The Mamanucas are a chain of small volcanic and coral islands fringed by reef, typically accessed by boat from Mana Island itself or from Port Denarau on Viti Levu. Divers here have reported a varied reef fish population, including bicolor angelfish, bird wrasse, floral Maori wrasse, Pacific bullethead parrotfish, scissortail sergeants, South Seas demoiselles, speckled butterflyfish, and striped surgeonfish.
