About this site
Nukove sits on the northwest coast of Bonaire, north of Karpata, reached by a shore entry over a short rocky path down to the water. It is one of the more remote of Bonaire's marked shore-diving sites along that stretch of coastline, part of the fringing reef that runs along the island's leeward side. Divers here have reported lobed star coral and mountainous star coral forming the reef structure, along with hawksbill turtles, queen parrotfish, stoplight parrotfish, Atlantic blue tangs, and yellowtail damselfish moving over it.
