About this site
Nursery is a dive site around Netrani Island, off the coast of Karnataka in the Arabian Sea, reached by boat from Murudeshwar. The island's heart-shaped outline breaks the surface with reef and rock formations sloping away underwater on several sides, and this site sits among that broader system of rock and reef around the island. Divers here have reported blue-barred parrotfish, redlip parrotfish, redtooth triggerfish, and laced moray, adding to the picture of Netrani as one of the few established dive destinations along India's west coast.
