Nusa Dua

Nusa Dua is a resort area on the southeastern tip of Bali, Indonesia, facing the Badung Strait, and the diving here takes place over a reef bottom reached by boat from the beaches and hotels along the coast. It's an intermediate dive to around 30 metres, with great visibility and strong current, and divers should be prepared for changing current directions and occasional strong upwellings. Manta rays and mola mola are regularly seen on the reef, and divers have also reported eagle rays, sea turtles, frogfish, rhinopias, scorpionfish, seahorses, pipefish, nudibranchs, octopus, and reef fish such as clownfish, damselfish, fusiliers, grouper and parrotfish. A blue ring octopus has also been reported at the site, so care around the reef substrate is worthwhile.
