Ogof Ffynnon Ddu lies in the Brecon Beacons of Powys, Wales, part of one of the deepest and most extensive cave systems in the United Kingdom, cut through carboniferous limestone in the Upper Swansea Valley. The system gives its name to a national nature reserve protecting the surrounding karst landscape.
