About this site
The Oreste wreck lies in the Bay of Kotor, the fjord-like inlet on Montenegro's Adriatic coast ringed by steep limestone mountains, and is generally reached by a short boat trip from towns along the water such as Kotor, Perast, or Risan. The site sits on a wreck bottom down to a maximum depth of around 30 metres, with good visibility reported. It is rated an advanced dive, in keeping with the depth involved.
