Outside Crystal Cove lies along the Kona coast of the Big Island of Hawaii, on the leeward side of the island where lava rock shoreline gives way to boat-accessible reef sites strung along the coast. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 27 metres and is rated an intermediate dive over the reef terrain typical of this stretch.
