About this site
Arvoredo Island sits off the coast of Santa Catarina, in southern Brazil, within a marine biological reserve that protects the waters around the island and its neighboring islets. The area is reached by boat from towns near Florianopolis, such as Bombinhas, and its granite shoreline drops into the Atlantic waters of the reserve.
