Parali Reef sits near Bangaram Atoll in the Lakshadweep archipelago, off India's southwestern coast in the Arabian Sea. Bangaram is a small coral island reached by boat from Agatti, and the reefs surrounding this cluster of atolls are typical of the region's lagoon and outer reef systems.
