About this site
Pasir Panjang lies along the coast of Sulawesi, Indonesia, in the waters off the province's northern reaches near the Bunaken area, within a region known for its coral coastline and volcanic terrain running down to the Celebes Sea. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 30 metres. Divers here have reported blue Linckia sea stars, green sea turtles, ornate ghost pipefish, and pink skunk anemonefish, along with pinkfish sea cucumbers, reticulated damselfish, seastar shrimp, and small giant clams scattered across the reef.
