Peak Crossing

Peak Crossing lies within Lhaviyani Atoll, a coral atoll in the northern Maldives reached mainly by liveaboard or resort boats operating out of that atoll's channels. The site sits along one of the atoll's reef structures, in the open water of the central Maldivian archipelago. Divers here have reported blacktip reef sharks and bluefin trevally moving over the reef, along with emperor angelfish, humpback snapper, and orangestripe triggerfish. Parrotfish are also part of the mix, with roundhead, spotted, and swarthy parrotfish all noted at the site, as well as paletail unicornfish.
